is currently  seeking experienced,

energetic, patient-focused Surgical Assistant professionals to join our team! 

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience in direct patient care.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to follow written protocols. Ability to communicate clearly. Must keep licensure current and maintain all necessary continuing education. Knowledge of all types of orthopedic surgery cast management including all types of splinting and intraoperative wound dressings. 
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ​
  • Minimum of 4 years operating room scrubbing experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Assistant (required) 
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: ​​Current certification as a Certified First Assist (CFA through the National Board of Surgical Technologies and Surgical Assistants, or Surgical Assistant NSAA (CSA), or NBSTSA (CFSA); and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required. 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: ​​Applicant must be willing to travel within a 40-mile radius to assist at multiple surgical facilities. 
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: ​​Qualifying applicants must pass drug screening, a background check and provide required immunization documentation as a final condition of employment.
